Just got home from the Brisbane Dinner, this year different venue and Andy gave a different talk based around the statistics of K&C since they started keeping them, around the early 2000's I believe he said. A couple interesting ones I recall, that K&C have produced about one million and a few more figures in that period and K&C have made more Tiger tanks than Germany produced during WW2!

Also again this time there was a diorama comp which provided some very good efforts, I post pictures of evening which include some of the new releases about to appear. I encourage others who attended to also post pictures and etc. and more text as I am hopeless at writing prose.

Thankyou so much Wayne for posting photos so quickly after the event. All were impressive, most all of the train/train station dio and the new resting Assie's. Some really nice displays. No doubt you had a fantastic night which went all to fast. :salute::, Robin.

Thanks for posting the pic's Wayne, the dio's are excellent and there sure is plenty of talent around to produce such work. I bet you, Andy and Bob had a devil of a time picking the winner! Glad the evening went well.

What a night it was, this year the dioramas & display's were fantastic and lot's of them.

Hat's off to the Military Workshop for the great venue at such short notice. :salute::

I was chatting to one of the judge's afterward's and he said it was a hard call just to get to the top 3.

My son and myself got to spend time talking to Andy one on one about dioramas and early & upcoming K&C products.

After Andy's words of encouragement to my son, he is now planning next years dio's.^&grin

A couple of pic's of the boy's first effort.

Not a judge this time which was as well as was buggered just getting my dio set-up without making my brain hurt even more picking winners, Matt again was winner but pleasing to see Glenn clean up with a couple of awards.....:salute:: Next year some of those who were there will not try horse jumping prior to the event....:rolleyes2:

Young Paul put in a top effort, mate I voted for ya...............:wink2:

Just a quick pat on the back to Glenn for his winner, he effort was a real imaginative jobbie and besides he should get a two pats on back just for being a top bloke anyway.......:salute::

I thought this one might take the cake, the other's were ranging from good to great but this one had more imagination and detail in such a small space in my opinion. The bear at the top of the falls is a nice touch as well. Kudos goes to Glenn, well done mate!

Thanks for posting these pics. Very much appreciated. Really like the waterfall diorama

Thanks for the updates\photos, the dioramas looked really well done by all!!!

more pics.

if you put a little more brown on the older figure to the lefts cam or more green on the newer figure you would have the right camo pattern. This could be verified by looking at the smocks in the museum at osterbeeck

Looks like a great night and the dioramas are brilliant,Wayne yours would be unreal to see in the flesh.

Did this guy just here about the prices I know the feeling ^&grin^&grin

Remember the picture was taken on a mobile phone with poor lighting and is not a mark one eye ball shot! so you can't make a fair statement about colour.......
