The TGM sets have really fine detail for their price and have some unique features such as a guy with pipe, eye patches etc. But I wasn't a big fan of the camera guy with the mortar set, I would have prefered another soldier instead.

Oz, agreed. I passed on the motar set for that very reason. Cheers Alby

Jackaroo, I didn't like the camera guy either, but I highly recommend the mortar set. It the best mortar set around. I'll bet your fellow Aussie, Wayne, would agree. In fact, I didn't care for the pipe and eye patch guys too, but imho, TGM is making some great sculpts. If you didn't get the pak gun, I highly recommend that too. I'm a big fan.

Mate,

I completely agree, TGM have produced some excellent sculpts. I do have the Pak and along with the Assault Pioneer set, they are my favorites to date. Cheers, Alby

That would be a great pose and remember watching Jezza clarkson narrating a programme about Arnhem and it turned out it was his father-in-law who did just this thing whilst severely wounded knocking out german tiger. He got a VC for that. Amazing bravery!!!!!

Thats right, I remember clarkson said in the program that he neglected to mention that he had a VC.

That would make such a cool figure and coupled with prehaps a history card, would hit the spot.

Has anyone considered that they may be Pegasus Bridge Paras.........

Well that would just be excellent and IMO well overdue as We would all be talking German by birth rather than choice had it not been for the Ox and Bucks and the Para's at Merville battery.
Mitch

I'd love to see British Paras from Merville battery on D Day,despite men and equip scattered to the four winds they regrouped stormed and cleared the Nazi's from bunkers. So paras with Stens, mine clearing equip, bazookas to blow in the bunker doors etc,and Paras using the bayonet would be cool.

Oz mentioned earlier about TG and K&C working well together, they really do and imo they are the only WW2 companies figures that look really good together.(Figarti's Brits also do too actually)
