Ken,

I too am a huge fan of your work. I enjoyed speaking with you the last time you were at the Valley Forge show a few years back. In many ways I wish I were an ACW collector so I could have a reason to buy up all this new, great looking stuff. That Sherfy barn is to die for!!

A question for you if I may............once the Gettysburg annv is over, will you concentrate any of these same efforts into the AWI range? I can only imagine seeing scenes like Washington and his staff holding a council of war.....or buildings typical of that era from my favorite spot in PA (and yours too if I recall correctly)--Brandywine. The AWI seems to have been put on the back burner as of late and I was wondering with the management changeover if we will soon see an increase in AWI offerings.

Hello there,
Thanks again for the kind comments!

For obvious reasons I cannot be very specific as far as new product development but we will continue to build on the existing AWI line. Several current figures will be retired and replaced with new sculpts and new regiments and companies will be represented.
There are several other collections that will be added to as well, along with a few new ranges launched over the next several months. I will say that I am very interested in the period from 1701 to the 1830s and there are important subjects I plan on visiting in the near future.

W. Britain is celebrating it's 120th anniversary this year and I feel it is my responsibility to leave it in as good of shape, if not better when the torch is passed in the future. I hope to see many of you at the upcoming shows so we can visit and exchange ideas!

Ken: WB's ACW rollouts are quite impressive. Can I inquire if any Confederate Cavalry is on the work bench or in the production pipeline or is this a side and branch that we will not see in the future?

I have not posted on the forum for a long time but I got inspired by all of the great WB Civil War figures coming out this year and used my 3 new bases from Ken and Erica to stage some ANV artillery units. I tried to recreate part of the early placement of artillery on July 1st near the Mummasburg Road. Recreated the King William battery from Virginia with 2 Parrots and 2 Napoleons along with a section from Hardaway Artillery from Alabama with 2 Ordnance Rifles. Also added some artillery staff. The set up is very close to real battery spacing. I am working on the background and other parts of the diorama but thought I would post to see what everyone thinks. I have not added images in a long time either I hope this works^&confuse

Very impressive display of the Reb battery. You have a very large base with which to work. Chris

Hi all,
These grassy bases were made by Ericka... it is nice to see them in use. We will be bringing all of the other components you will need for artillery displays soon.

By the way, there will be new ACW cavalry figures too along with a few other often requested items.

Very nicely done. Most collectors don't realize the amount of space it would take to model a WB 6-gun ACW artillery battery to scale. I once calculated that it would take almost 8.5 feet of linear space for the proper placement of guns according to subscribed regulations (14 yards between each gun hub-to-hub). If you would consider the prescribed safety radius of 25 feet from the center of each gun, you now have a model that would require at least 10 linear feet. Impressive amount of display area.
