I thought it would be good to get some feedback on what people liked, disliked or surprised with Britains new releases. I am guessing we will get a better understanding of what alll is available when the catalogues and the britains website is refreshed next week.
My first thoughts based on early previews were the AZW was better than expected as you got a chance to build the kraal now and I am glad they continued with the evacuation of the hospital so I can fill in the middle of my rorke drift diorama. The individual zulu figures seem to be great choices but the lone 24th of foot was kinda of generic.
Biggest disappointment would be the War on the nile series in my opinion. When the LIMBER is the highlight you know this series is dying.
The biggest surprise was return to ww2 and the bomber diorama set which will be popular
I don't collect ACW, but they are clearly paying homage to all the aniversiaries of key battles coming up.... Net-net it appears something for everyone including NAPs who does not like a good highlander
