Excellent many thanks for the photos. The AZW & WAN figures look amazing. WB has upped their game :)

Thanks for the photos. The new ACW figures and sets are going to be nice additions.

What the heck?! Were you up at 3AM? The show doesn't open for another hour and a half :D

Seriously, thanks for posting! I like the cottage/pub particularly, it's a great backdrop piece.

Prost!

Thanks for your efforts.

Is the camel corps figure gloss or matte. Looks matte. If so, I'm assuming those two are from the forthcoming Nile series.

If so, and you have a chance, can you find out ETA of the range. Thanks.

The new War along the Nile series is matte. I think Ken said the series will start arriving late spring.

Thanks for the pics! Some exciting stuff from Britains! I like that Union wagon, I wonder how much that will go for? Looks like more Union artillery coming as well, is that 2 different sets or one set duplicated on the table? Also, I think I see a Union zouave hiding in the background behind the wagon... :)

Are those new Zulu sets part of the Rorke's Drift or Isandlwana series?

The ones above have both as Durnford is there and the Carabineers. From the Drift is Chaplain Smith and two members of the NNC.

Great pictures-that Union ambulance looks like being a must have. Ken gave me the heads up on it at the London show last year.

The Zouave by the way is one of the stretcher bearer party that goes with the set.

Hi Brad, The Camel Corps is matte, but I'm not sure of the release schedule. I did get a 2010 catalog from Richard, and I can photograph the pages of the War Along the Nile series for you and everyone else if you'd like; the range is expansiv, and you gotta love the "Fuzzy-Wuzzies", as they call them - fantastic figures, and there are more camels as well.

Do you think the driver on the ambulance could be removed some how? If so I would add this great piece into my Zulu setup's, it should fit in well (one like this was featured in the Zula Dawn movie),perhaps parked outside the Rorke's Drift hospital, of course before or after the 22 Jan in keeping with history of the event.

Hi Brad, I know that was a little crazy posting pics at 3AM:eek:! But when I got home from two days of room trading, I surprised to see no pics posted yet. So I took it as my duty, and got busy posting pics. I'll do so again next year too, and from here on out:). Glad you enjoyed the pics

Hi Steve, Sorry but I don't have these answers for you, but I too saw a Zouave hiding in the background ;). He is a stretcher bearer and part of a 3 man set # 31053 that is LTD to 700 sets.

Hi villagehorse, I think the driver is glued in, but I'm not sure. If glued, you might be able to carefully remove the figure, but this would then require removal of the glue residue from both the ambulance and figure, and both would likely require repainting of the affected areas.

Thanks for your thoughts. On further reflection after looking at the orderly crouching in the surgeon Reynolds set, I think if I painted the drivers hat white and made his pants the same blue as his shirt, I think he would pass as Natal orderly. Whether I would be came to try to paint white braces and a thin red line down his pants is another matter. The only reason I am considering this is I do not collect ACW and the ambulance is such a nice piece and I sure it will not be released as a Zulu item. Do any of you see this as reasonable or am I crazy?
