I am a big fan of this range and over the last couple of years I have managed to collect all the figures so far. Up to now these have been displayed in three separate and smaller displays.

Not anymore - the three terrain mats have been trimmed and amalgamated to make one large display measuring six foot six by two ft. So the Gunboat, Camel Corps, Naval Brigade and the various Infantry Regiments can all do battle against the Dervish hordes.

Two acrylic cases will cover the display to keep the dust off etc.

Here is a photo showing the complete display, I will be posting some more closer uppers later on.....

Thanks.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Love the display!
Can I ask where are you getting the acrylic cases from? I'm after some myself.

Thanks for the comments and the likes. :salute::

The acrylic cases are made by a local company (I'll post details later).

Here are a few close up's of the action.

It does not get much better than this Jeff. I think if this was mine I could be happy to say that's it for this series. Personally at this time Sudan is off my radar due to the fact I am collecting too many era's. About the only thing that could draw me back is mounted figures or gun teams.:salute::Robin.

More action...

I need more Dervishes and lets hope WB get round to mounted figures for both sides soon - meanwhile I'm looking forward to getting the new releases.

Looking good Jeff! (the dio, not you {sm2})
Looks like you've got room to expand a little to the right for additional future purchases too. ^&grin

Great dio Jeff. The Heritage Camel Corps figs work well with WB. The steamer is so eye catching. Chris

Imho the Heritage Camels are very nice and compliment the WB range. I got these four at the London show last December and I hope to get some mounted Infantry officers, Hussars and mounted Mahdists in the near future.

The RMLI, Medical orderly and patient are converted from AZW figures, the Royal Sussex Infantry come from the Gunboat set and have had the bases re-modelled to suit.

The Acrylic cases are custom made by http://www.strikingdisplays.co.uk/acrylic-display-cases.html

Thanks to everyone for the interest and lets hope WBritain do their part by keeping this excellent range going over the coming years.

Jeff :salute::
