Britain's Zulu War (1 Viewer)

Nicely done Mike seems Randy's presentation of Isandlwana was it's inspiration. Thanks for presenting it....The Lt.

Meanwhile earlier on the field of Isandlwana the ranker is joined my a fellow ranker of the 1st/24th taking careful aim to make sure every shot counts....The Lt.

That's a really nice shot Joe, you've been working hard lately.

Got to agree with the others Joe, your back drops and closeups are superb:cool:

Cheers

Martyn:)

Like many of the others joe, I too have always been impressed with your pictures and especially the backdrops you use. When I reach the point where I can work on a serious diorama base for my Drift, I will certainly ask you for assistance on how to acquire the proper backdrops to use. The cloudy sky is really cool.

Thank you LT - absolutely correct assumption - one can certainly learn alot from the Polar Bear. The internet web site is very user friendly also.

I would like to start by thanking all my fellow forum members who have contributed to this thread over the years and for finally setting me off down the “Road to Zulu Land”!

Yes I have today purchased my first non K&C figure for over 6 years namely the ModelZone exclusive “Cold Steel”; I have number 291 of 500. All I can say is that it is not going to be my last. I know that you have all seen the set before but here is mine.

Regards

Jeff

Great acquisition Jeff,

they look good,

when I first read your post it reminded me of the "rifle creed mantra" in Full Metal Jacket,

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than any enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will....

My rifle and myself know that what counts in this war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit...

My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weakness, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...

Before God I swear this creed. My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but Peace.

Welcome aboard Jeff

We are converting everyone 1 member at a time :D :D :D It is a great figure though and the new hand to hand sets are even better :)

Thanks chaps :) A very well produced set and I am looking forward to the London show at the end of the month where I hope to add a couple of others.

Jeff

Well you have gone and done it now Jeff. Like you, I too was an exclusive K&C collector. Now however, I have been bitten by the WB bug and it won't let go. Welcome to Zulu country.

Titus - great picture, thanks for sharing it with us.
