Britain's Zulu War (3 Viewers)

The Lt. sent a new wish list a few weeks back and I am pleased to say the first 8 new sculpts from the list arrived yesterday and they look great (and in the poses the Lt. wanted!). More named defenders of The Drift, Zulus and the first of Zulu War...the sequel - were in this batch.

Brian I'm sure you'll wake this AM and find your bowl is still full as Schiess defends it againt a uThulwana Warrior. Martyn seems Dalton, Schiess and the 24th Foot were put to good use defending your storehouse in the nick of time and nice way to introduce them to us.

The bowl is still full, but the troops all woke-up an hour early, someone forgot to adjust the clocks.:D

Told Ya Brian Schiess would protect it:D:D:D. Looks like he can play with my Trophy figures.;);););)

Brian I don't think you have too many figures. It's a little known historical fact (not very often written about or even spoken of) that Mrs. Scheiss in actuality had given birth to identical triplets ;). At least that story sounds good for a collector who might have three figures representing the same personality :D. All three look good Brian, however since I like matte finishes I prefer the most recently released Scheiss.

Are you sure Mike that Mrs.s Schiess only gave birth to triplets and can you tell me which one she made sure was dressed correctly?:D:D:D:D

I am glad to see this arrangement, now I know I do not have too many Zulu figures. I must continue the search.

Nice looking bunch of Schiesses. :)

I was recently looking for the "Washing of the Spears" set that WB has done for Modelzone UK, but cannot find it on their website. Anybody know the latest on this item? I assume it has not come and gone already?

No you haven't missed it Dave. We are all still waiting for it. As far as I am aware there hasn't been a release date. Melville figure has just been released.

I noticed that the Scheiss figure looks comparable size wise with Trophy LL etc.... How about Dalton and the 24th in shirt sleeve. I hope WB are not shrinking their figures.

Oh good, thanks for the reply. I was eyeballing the Melville figure, but feeling a bit shy about the price tag. Awesome looking figure though.
