Britain's Zulu War (2 Viewers)

Thanks Tim, MD and John,

The new matte Brit figures have the abilitiy of coming to life when placed in a setting. UK Reb has proven it time and time again with his ACW figures and the new ZW figures are proving like wise. Here's another MD........The Lt. or should I say Colonel:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I like this shot Joe! Colonel Leftenant.

My shipment of Zulu War stuff arrived today. They are really good figures. The glossy ones are good. I don't think they will really fit wityh my Trophy stuff but I do like them nevertheless. Well done WB for great figures. I trust we will see a steady stream of figures over the next few years. Keep making Zulus I have just never really been one for buying multiples but you do need a lot of Zulus for teh mass effect.
Regards
Damian

You can say that! There are plenty more coming in Matt and Gloss. The next catalog should fill in some more gaps.
That is all for now...

Ah, I believe that was Major Spalding and the remainder of the 1st/24th from Helpmakker hightailing it back after seeing smoke. Mike

Lt we need more battlefield debris. Helmets, spears, broken cartidge boxes, belts and gear.

...and horses and cattle and water carts and other small transport wagons.

The museum collection Black Watch figure is attired more for the earlier Egypt/Sudan campaigns in the early to mid 1880's. Also the regiment did not participate in the reconquest of Sudan during the late 1890's and was not present at Khartoum/Omdurman.

No offense intended toward the "new" Britain's folks but when the family owned the company they were generally historically accurate.

Hey that b/W figure is nice. I will be getting that one , no big surprise there.

Bought the Zulu fiing rifle. He is a little taller hanthe others bu no real worries. Those Osprey are nice, and a really good deal.

The highlander isn't marketed for the ZW or reconquest of the Sudan. It says 'Egyptian war 1882'. Sounds accurate to me.

You should also note that the new kids on the block are living up to the tradition of the once family owned......The Lt.

I think I would have to disagree with you there, there are lots of faux pas Britains have made over the years. Personally I think they are better now than ever :)
