Very good Joe;)

Cheers

A question for Richard and Ken will we get a sneak peak at the Model Zone limited edition of Lieutentant Melvill now that it's been leak by the crew of WBritain UK.........The Lt.

Hi Joe:

Just finalizing the images now. Imagine Modelzone should be posting info in the next 2-3 weeks. It's a beauty though! Dave Youngquist even painted a trickle of sweat coming off his temple and Alan Ball has nailed his face - capturing the desperation/sickening feeling that this is probably the end...

Keep up the great work Joe!

Richard

Hi Richard

Can I ask is this going to be a matte release?

Thanks

Scott

Thanks Richard and looking forward to it making it's appearance as I'm sure others will be. Scott bet you a photo dio of your choice from my end against a photo dio of yours it'll be done in Matte. Winner selects the figures from the others sets to be photograph. Now the question is will he have the Colours Cased of Flying it the Breeze. Out on the limb I say cased.......The Lt.

I'm going with matte, with the Colours half-visible half cased;)

Sounds good Joe :) :) :)

Is the Melville figure mounted? It sounds very promising. I'm glad WB moves away from the Drift. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just that there are so many more things to do with artillery, cavalry and other units.

And also some in gloss please:)

On a side note; what were the two exclusive figures you would get when joining the club's Isandlwana trip? Since the trip was cancelled, how about those figures?

Joachim,
Excellent points!
The Isandlwana trip was cancelled, maybe there are protos out there:cool:

And my Aide De Camp if the figures are still available and was limited for those who would have taken advantage of the trip wouldn't it be nice if over a period of time until the figures have been awarded that a Trivia Contest be held posing questions from various events that took place begining from the Invasion of The Land of the Zulus and ending at Ulundi. Got a hunch this might get me in trouble.

Joachim hopefully we'll see the next batch of figures representing others who fought at the Mission Station not of the 24th Foot along with NCO's and Coporal's and Lance Corporals of the 24th that can also be featured in photo dioramas as well as created dioramas of other events that occured during the ZW. Then on to the other goodies once the Drift has been manned. I'm sure we'll more than likely see some of your request along with others made making an appearance some time this year......The Lt.

Sorry guys - never ended up making the figures for the tour. We are working on giving the Drift a nice compliment of troops this year first and then...Isandlwana not far off and even a couple goodies already in the works for Ulundi....mmm So many interesting units, uniforms, artillery/guns, cavalry, etc. etc...

The mixing other events in the drift releases sounds good to me. Keep everyone happy. And don't forget those glossies please.

Richard,
Thanks for jumping in! Always nice to know the Gods are listening! And very comforting that WB has the future planned out, unlike a lot of other folks. Best of luck and Thanks for all my little men!
