Britain's Zulu War (1 Viewer)

Yesterday i watch and old movie Zulu with Michael Cain and than i wannt to place and order for sets 20028,20029,20030 and it is sold out!!!!!!
What this mean?No more of this set?Or they will make another sets later like in may or something?
Because i remmember it was only 600 pieces(limited edition) but still come on,i hope they will make more sets. Why they do not at least have an option making by order?I am sure a lot of collectors still wannt to buy this but maybe they miss when it was the begining of the sale.
So can you tell me what is the story or the future of this sets?
Also what else will be new there?
I sthere any new figures comming? is there any new battle that WBritain will make fogires for?
I know first it was Islandwabad, now Rourke's drift. What is next?

Ales,

I had a good chat with the Britains guys at the London show yesterday and those three sets are now sold out here in the UK, your best bet now is to see if you can get them from the US, unless you can get them from an independent ( might be worth checking sellers on ebay as well, such as ectoys when the sets are out - might be cheaper than getting them from the US). I think from now on that the best bet is to pre-order anything you want that is limited edition as not only is this happening with the sets you mention above but also the other 600 edition sets.

The WWI Cuirassier sets are also all sold out as well as the upcoming Nap Lancers. The Rifles Officer (Club set) has only about another 20 also to pre-order and then that's gone. This is for the UK and the European markets I don't know figures for the US.

The upcoming Modelzone release will be a Ltd Edition of Melvill trying to save the colours at Isandhlwana, as an aside the next Connoisseur will be a Nap Cuirassier.

I think when they say sold out they mean sold out to the dealers. So I don't think you would have a problem getting a hold of one. They haven't even been released yet !!!

Andy based on your chat with the WBritain guys is it that the sets were all sold directly to individual customers which would mean that none of their dealers will be receiving any of the sets or figures and have they been shipped to their customers? It's great knowing that the series is doing well both across the pond and here in the USA which will mean that it'll continue to be added to and grow. I'm sure they'll be additional hand to hand sets and hope next time around they won't be attached to the mealie bag walls or on a mealie bag base so that the can be featured not only defending the Drift but can be feature in mini or photo dio's of events that occured during the War. It'll be interesting to see the Limited Model Zone figure of Melvill saving the Colours and the way he'll be posed. It would be nice to see sometime in the future both Melvill and Coghill being shown standing back to back making their last stand so the figures can be feature as British Officer taking part in other events. Like most I'm sure I'm looking forward to the up and coming Spring Flyer......The Lt.

Talking to my dealer, he hasn't any of the sets listed above left not pre-ordered and I think thats common throughout.

Therefore try your particular dealers and see what happening.

Hi Andy,
Just for clarification are you saying your dealer has or hasn't got pre orders for the new sets?

Thanks for the show information by the way!

Pete

Pete,

He hasn't got any figures left from his batch, all his Zulu/Lancers/WWI Curassiers are accounted for. Once he gets them he has customers for them all.

Scott,
Great to see you playing! I like the use of figures from the drag-out set being used for casualties. I'm reading Ntombe-The Bloody Affair at Myer's Drift, and your guys would be perfect for that mauling.
