Britain's Zulu War (1 Viewer)

I thought you all would enjoy the following photos by Artist Simon Smith which he's featured on the Rorke's Drift VC web site and was good enough reply to my request for permission to pass them along. By the way both Richard and Ken have already been sent them earlier. By the way can any care to guess who the defenders of the hospital are? Hope you enjoy his work as much as I do....The Lt.

Sergeant Robert Maxfield?

I looked at Simon's site, and I must say I feel that "Durford Rides Out" is calling for me to put up on my office wall. I very much appreciate you letting us know that they were finally on sale. I read that simon is going to be doing work for Osperey! Thats' wonderful.

I see all of the forthcoming AZW mealie bag vignette sets are already SOLD OUT in the UK and that some of the very recent items (like the Natal Mounted Police) are too. I believe that means no more will be issued?

I think they are also limited to 600 sets and so are the NMP. I have placed my order for all the new sets for this year :D :D

Hi There!
Ericka and I have just returned from the NY Symposium where we, along with Clive of Figarti, John of Jenkin's Designs and Andy of K&C were guests this year.
I am back at the bench and hard at work wrapping up loose ends for the next mini catalog in late Spring.
I spoke to Richard Walker before we left and he confirmed that the UKs portion of the 600 piece limited runs were already sold out, and only a handful are left in the US.
This is great news for these hand to hand sets. I really enjoyed designing and sculpting these so perhaps we will see more like them in the future!
All the Best!
Ken

A little play time in the sun while it was shining....The Lt.

I'm going to vote that we call these types of natural sunlight pictures either "Lt style" or "Joesun Shots". Need more bottles down here, My Lord, extra for the garden I'm building!
I really like the sunlight with the matte figures...Looks like Victory!

I vote for Lt style. Joe owns the natural light shots.

Kevin panda1gen was the first to be seen playing in the sunshine which led me into following his lead. It's cloudy this AM 1879 but will do what I can to bottle up a dozen or so to send your way.

In the mean time Trooper Henry Lugg one of the three members of the Natal Mounted Police joins the defenders at the north wall....The Lt.
