So the Little Captain decided I needed to brush up on the events by selecting the book he has laying beside him....The Lt.

Very funny photo's! :p

Untill it was pointed out to me I had not realised we had no SGT'S! That needs sorting out, I would love to see W Britains take on C-SGT Bourne.

Adendorff and Schiess would be great, Im loving what I've seen of Chard and Bromhead. Not long to wait.. :(

Those that have W Britains own Hospital building, what do you think of it? Value for money, detail etc? JG minatures make some great Drift buildings for a cheaper price, although no interior of course.

Cheers.

PS: Yes, the Zulu war should be taught at school. I am forever being faced with accusations of racism etc for collecting this conflict! If people understood some of the facts and the diffrences between ours and their period, I feel this wouldn't happen. :(

SP,
The building is the best, for money, detail, scale, everything! There is no rear facia, so you cant use it looking down from the Oskarsberg Heights!
If you have an extra $200, well worth it, and the Storhouse will show up sooner or later.
Mike

SP I agree with my Aide De Camp 1879 for what's available to be had it's the best that's available on the scene today. You'd be disappointed with the Hospital by JG minitures for you would find the it's scale is not compatible with the WBritian figures. Once again I'm sure that we'll see Colour-Sergeant Bourne and others above the rank of private making appearance during the coming year and hoping to see him posed firing his Martini-Henry......The Lt.

Welcome SP

The WB hospital is a great piece which I recommend as you are able to create displays outside & in. I am also looking forward to the new releases.

I'm sure along with the Little Captain and Charlie the two privates of the 2/24th can't wait for the help headed their way for their defenders of the Drift....The Lt.

WB's hospital it is, thanks for the help folks.

Another fine photo Lt!

Has everyone pre-ordered their April releases? I noticed their already sold out in the UK! I don't know how W B's organise their stock, but I take it this refers to the fact that they have sold out of the stock that they had, stock may still be available in shops?

For those that are interested a (fiction) book named "Zulu Heart" by Saul David (the military historian) came out early this month. Looks rather good, I may order it.

I thought you all would enjoy the following photos by Artist Simon Smith which he's featured on the Rorke's Drift VC web site and was good enough reply to my request for permission to pass them along. By the way both Richard and Ken have already been sent them earlier. By the way can any care to guess who the defenders of the hospital are? Hope you enjoy his work as much as I do....The Lt.
