British Artillery 1750’s (1 Viewer)

Maybe we'll be lucky, and i will rain for another day or two.

Thanks for the post.

Dick

No rain today.....but plenty of yellow paint. These are nearly finished now, just the hats and bases to do later.

Well I have just purchased myself a new flat screen monitor and I must say these figures look even more stunning. I can only imagine what they look like in real life.

And yes Simon currently it is sunny here in Ontario :D

Wow, Jeff,
you're really going at it now. What a great surprise to see the additional work on the troopers today after finishing the Officers yesterday.
As the "britfarmer" said. They look good already anyway but seeing them close up in hand makes another big step up. I can tell from the French Artillery I got from you.
Seems that soon the time will come when I press my nose flat again at the window to watch for the mail carrier to stop by :)
Thanks again for your work and looking forward to the final brush strokes.
Konrad

Another super looking set Jeff , It realy adds an apreciation of the work involved in toy soldiers seeing these guys come together.

Dick

I hope Konrad likes these, there isn't a lot of green apart from the bases :D.

As for the next project, that is on it's way to me (I hope!).........stay tuned.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

Oh yes, I sure like them, Jeff.
As far as I am concerned, this set has been finished as a true masterpiece.
Great work and a real pleasure again to see them developing.
Thanks a lot.
Konrad
P.S. Never mind about a little "green" only. Maybe there'll be some more in a possible future set ;).

Hi Jeff,

Your latest project has resulted in the transformation of bare castings into remarkably beautiful figures! It is a significant thrill to watch you apply your incredible talents to bringing these figures to life. Thank you for allowing us to observe your creative skills and talents at work.

I eagerly look forward to watching your next project!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Once again Jeff an outstanding piece of work. There's no doubt that Konrad will be glue to his window awaiting their arrival. Staying tuned awaiting the begining of your next project......The Lt.

Thank you everybody for all the positive comments.

Konrad has to wait a while for the paint to dry before shipping, there is nothing worse than having tissue stuck to your figures  except perhaps having to wait for the Postman......:D

Regards

Jeff

Jeff,

It's amazing how you have transformed these figures in just a month. Your work certainly is beautiful, you are a true artist !!! I think I would still be still trying to get the figures out of the bags  :D :p.

I for one am glad you take photo's and post them on here for us to marvel at. I look forward to the next batch of figures to arrive on your work bench.

WAIT FOR A WHILE  ? ? ?
Just kidding. I gladly wait for a while, or even longer. The thought only to have to peel off tissue from the newly arrived figures makes my stomach turn the wrong way.
Happy to receive them whenever they are safe for the long trip :).

It's ok I'm using my daughters hair drier to speed up the progress.......:D:D:D

Hello everybody,
just want to happily announce that the British Artillery has arrived.
Very happy with the set, Jeff, and as before with the French Artillery they look even better eye to eye.
Another fine addition to my 18th century collection.
Below are a few pictures to show them one more time.
Great work, Jeff!
Konrad
