Excellent Michael, the Naval Brigade is one of my favourite units in the Egypt and Sudan campaigns, come to think of it they were involved in all the Victorian campaigns I collect;):D

Cheers

Martyn:)

Your two new additions look very nice with the Gatling Gun and crew. A great acquisition . . . . .
:) Mike

I ordered mine yesterday. Should have them Friday! I can't wait to add them along side the gatling gun.

After some of the talk about getting the new firing Gordons in mutiples for a square...I was just thinking about doing the same with the firing naval brigade set....thoughts from others out there??

Extra's to support the gatling gun located around the front corners of the square would look great and beef up the numbers also. cheers, Robin. Nice photo Michael, my plan for the gun will become evident soon and it will be off the sand in the air?

Hi Mike

Not "spoke" with you for some time - but read your threads daily - More wonderful pixs, so much so I have just ordered my Gatlin gun and crew.

Please ref to "Current series and future releases" your assistance is needed.

Great photos Mike..... I've just opened my set of 2 Sailors Firing, really pleased with them and they will soon be joining the rest of the British in the cabinet, all we need now is something to fire at!

Jeff

Ok, maybe I should begin collecting the Sudan after all!

I had decided to skip this line, but you make those marines and the Gatling look simply irresistable:p

Niels and Mike, sorry to be a bit anal here  but these are Naval Brigade Sailors not Marines, hopefully the Marines will make an appearance sometime in the future.

Regardless of what I have just said, they make an excellant addition to the range.

How funny...yes...that was my choice on words...poor choice...I'm talking to Mestell (right now) on the phone and he was telling me to correct that to "sailors" before someone else mentioned it...you're not anal Jeff...you're correct...:D

Here are how the Royal Marine Light Infantry looked in the Sudan

1882 blue uniforms & tropical helmets
1884-85 grey uniforms & tropical helmets

Like Michael I hope John will make a bunch of these:)
