Thanks Steve. I have a few ideas I'm working on for this shelf display. More items are in the works.
THX Robin. The Boy and His Water Buffalo is a nice looking figure. I am glad this second one was released giving me the opportunity to collect it. What's a Vietnam display with out a least one water buffalo?
"Deer" God Paul, I'm beginning to worry about you. It seems lately you have been preoccupied with having these figures kill and eat some poor animal. Why would they want to do this when they have at their ready disposal yummy C-rations to eat. Meat out of a can, not off the hoof.

Love your pics Mike! Always look for your latest work of art. Good stories behind the scenes.

I was luckyWhile we are on this topic, here's another memento from the past - a C-Ration can opener, or as we called them "a John Wayne". As you can see, I still have one and it still does a fine job opening tins. You never knew how old the C-Rations were that you were choking down. Once, when we were drawing rations, I noticed that the case lot being distributed was canned in 1948. I was born in 1948. Nothing like fresh.
