Cemetery Hill/East Cemetery Hill, July 2nd 1863..... (2 Viewers)

Just thought I'd bump this one, created it awhile ago, but today is the 150th anniversary of this attack, so here it is again................

Pretty amazing!

Thanks Brad; this is one of the ones that came together extremely well, the terrain is difficult to replicate with it's stone wall layout and hills, so there you go..........

Good dio to "bump" George. I note you even have red hat cords and chevrons on the gunners, nice touch. The elevation and fencing really add to the authenticity. Great overall dio> Chris

Thanks Chris, I'm glad you like it, thanks for posting......

Thanks George for posting this excellent diorama. The amount of troops and flags are amazing. The figures are well painted and planed out for the battle. Nice work. John:salute::

Thanks for re-posting this one George. I remember this from last year and I think its quite fitting today considering the 150th anniversary of the battle. My wife's Great Great Grand Uncle (younger brother of her Great Great Grandfather) John Ayres Entsminger fought at Culp's Hill on July 3, 1863. He was a private in the 52nd VA INF.

Thanks Mike, glad you appreciate my efforts on this one. Nice to be able to trace your wifes family back to the civil war, I'm off to Virginia (Fredericksburg) a week this coming Tuesday, can't wait..................
