In order to fit the FoB figurines belonging to the 51st Highland Div into my Dunkirk dio I had to change them from soldiers belonging to the 51st Highland Div into men from the 50th Northumbrian Div, who defended La Panne( Belgium) in 1940;
The dio is not finished yet but I can already show you the new div. shoulder patches painted on the figurines.

Amazing how you did that, and so quickly.

Terry

Terry,
The method is very simple: I first draw little squares 3mm/3mm on very thin paper, then I paint these squares black with water colour. When this is fully dry, I then use red drawing ink to draw the two "Ts". When dry, I cut and glue the patches on the figurine .It takes a little bit of patience.

guys
I started working on the dio in which the 50th Northumbrian men will be placed.
I prepared the cobbled street( not painted yet) incl the manhole cover. Glued the repainted bombed house in place, added the sign/lamp post and started adding the rubble. In the house I put a wooden floor and added already the door. Will keep you updated about the further evolution of this dio.

The next stage of the building of my Dunkirk( La Panne) dio is completed

I attach a few pictures.
I added more rubble on the other side of the bombed house,painted the cobbled stone street, put the bus stop shelter and sign in their place, made a tree( note the burned branches next to the bombed house) Hung up a poster on the lamp/sign post of the movie they are playing in the local cinema.
Still to do:
finish the inside of the house, add a few more details ( road signs etc..) finish the lamp/sign post and put the K&C figurines in place.
Next pictures you will see will be of the completed dio with a description of the scene
