title stolen from the movie.....^&grin......hope nobody is offended...

the AE-03 Chariots...

I think these are some of the finest pieces K&C has ever produced...shown with the K&C SP desert structures...they make a spectacular diorama...I have had them for a while and have never shown any pictures...but as I'm selling one of my chariots this coming weekend in San Antonio...I thought I better take the pictures of the two of them together while I still own them both...I will miss the chariot I'm selling...as it is one of my prized possessions...

here's a couple of pics of the Pharaoh showing off his chariots to the who I assume is Caesar and Marc Anthony in front of the K&C SP Desert buildings...

even if you don't collect this series...or have no interest in Egypt...you gotta admit...they are pretty colorful and pretty cool...

thank all you guys very much for the kind comments...

Mark..I really do hate to sell it...I gave the guy a really good price on the piece and I gave my word on the deal...I already commited...so I'm gonna honor our agreement...

I know I will probably never get another one...so I'm gonna miss it...

I really think it's one of the most intricate and colorful pieces K&C ever did or ever will do...

Beautiful scene Mike!!! I was lucky enough to get a chariot last year, and it certainly is a special piece I never thought I would own. Finally got a sedan chair today. I look forward to more of your photos. Your buildings really add to it!!

Very nice Mike. The Chariot set is the only AE piece I own. Unfortunately it was very short lived due to breaking in shipping. I really have loved the series from the beginning but there are so many sets to buy. I bought mine on the net long after it was retired and paid I believe 300 plus American damaged. As I am into modeling I repaired and touche it up. It is definitely a wonderful piece. It was a present for my wife and graces her curio with some LOJ.

Great diorama and use of the desert buildings. Perhaps I shall see you at the show this weekend!! Check out my posted collection if you have time!!

Ludwig!

Great photographs of an excellent Ancient Egyptian diorama. Thanks for showing us your chariots, Michael. They certainly are beautiful pieces.

Will do. If you have a chance check out my picture thread "Texas toy soldier show". I wished I had taken more previously. If you have any to post that would be great.

Oh so colourful, bet many members wished they collected this series. In this case taking the time to cover the bases with sand just highlights the figures even more and makes them life like, well done Mike. Could not part with the Chariot myself. Cheers, Robin.

Mike,
As Mae West once said, "too much of a good thing can be wonderful." As a fellow collector of K & C's AE series, you can keep the photos coming, as far as I'm concerned!

Excellent pictures Michael :salute::

Cheers

Martyn:)
