Hi Wayne,

Saw your original post, very interesting price. I have the winter Panther & 251C and was considering the Stug. I had my finger on buy button, but I balked at the USD$70 for shipping. Thanks for posting though.

Cheers,

Alby

Perhaps that is because it is being shipped from "Hell"?:D

In this case, "Hell" is Austin, Texas! I bought something way back from this seller (way below retail too) & that is where the departure city was.

Hang Tough!

This seller seems to specialize in only in Collector Showcase products. All visible feedback is for CS items. If I remember correctly, Austin is where CS is located.

Just an observation.

He is selling Dragon 1/6 figures too.

Terry,
I don't see Dragon, I only see the CS 1/6 figures? They may say Dragon in the title, but those are definitely CS 1/6 figures.

Is this the manufacturer selling these items? Interesting b/c I thought all of the Tigers were long sold out.

I looked at his sales history from the feedback and the vendor described quite a few 1/6 Dragon figures and some DID. Also could see what he has been buying - mostly music CDs.

I can almost hear the suspicion from some people that think the vendor is Brian.

Or maybe a alias...................

There are no DID figures, the name was used to attract more buyers to the auction listings.

Multiples of many of the figures, tanks, etc.

Yes, I do believe that it is CS clearing inventory. Why not provide a "special" for dealers instead of doing this? If K&C were to do something like this - I don't even know what people would say.

If I were carrying CS products, I'd be crying fowl. For a maker to undercut the retail dealers out there is really bad.

My apologies to tdubel. On a second look, the figures listed in the title as Dragon and DID are actually CS figures

And what is up with the Australian Dollar info for a seller from Austin?

That would be like me selling an item from California, listing it at $100 or 438,797 ZMK (Zambian Kwacha).

Rats...I only have 437,000 Kwacha in my wallet!

Actually, the link was to the eBay Australia site, so all amounts are shifted to their currency.

The same auction can be viewed on the eBay US site, listed in USD.

And if they DID have a Zambian site, it would be listed in Kwacha! :D

Seems to me the seller is trying to mask their location. The only way we know the seller is from Austin is from another forum member posting that info.

Beaufighter bought an item from that vendor on e-bay and says it was shipped from Austin.
