I agree the boot acquisition scene is a good one but I don't think it is disgusting, degrading or horrific and certainly not in the league of the crusader Saracen you mention. Appropriating any useful item from one's fallen foes is a very old practice that probably started with the first battle between men. Foot soldiers have always been highly dependent on their shoes and the need to replace them was a constant challenge over the centuries of warfare. The only soldiers that didn't practice it were those with excellent supply lines. Anyway, it is a good addition and I hope it sets a standard of other companies and other wars.A great big thank you to desk11desk12 for those photos. They are the best ones yet as they are very clear closeups of the products. From this new batch of photos I found myself getting really excited about these upcoming releases! Those BBG pieces look really well done. In particular I'm intrigued by the "boot stealer". As I generally prefer figures I find this set a fresh idea, one not done to my recollection. It really conveys strong emotions in me. Its one thing to collect dead/wounded figures but this piece takes it to another level. I don't think since the Crusader piece showing a Saracen holding the severed head of a Crusader have I had such an emotional reaction. One thing about collecting toy soldiers is we see a very sanitized version of what they depict....war, which is brutal, horrific and ugly. In a very subtle way this piece draws attention to the disgusting, degrading happenings. I've seen pictures of something like this from the BOB and it was a common occurrence. I'll likely pick this piece up. Well done K&C!
P.S. The new recon vehicle looks excellent too!

Who is the German officer holding the map in front of the armored car? Also, someone on another thread said something about Bulge FJ's, I didn't see any in these pics. Could someone confirm or deny this rumor?
No, the other guy holding a map, standing next to Sepp Dietrich.
