Scott Schleh (parts of post 21 and 22) does some very interesting things, especially with trains. I recall that about 2 or 3 years ago Andy used him to help make some dios and I think Scottt got some attention (and hopefully business) because of that.

Thanks for your great photos and reportage so far Mike. We need to make sure you go to Chicago every year!

This coverage is what I have been waiting for Mike, you have done a superb job. Excellent close up photo's of which a lot appealed to me. Hope you get your boat, I would, but I do not collect the series. Especially like the new Pikes and Musket, hope that ***** is a future release. Spotted the 7th cavalry mounted figure, great. Also the panniers in the jeep and open on the ground for the Market Garden dio, more must have. Really appreciate your efforts here Mike, gives me a first hand look at what I would have loved to attend. :salute::, Robin.

Only one? {eek3}^&grin

hehehe...you're funny...
it will surely be the single most expensive thing I have ever purchased...
but I will regret not owning it if I don't buy it...
it's just too stunning to pass up...

I may be wrong as I did not attend...

but I believe the dinner was hosted by Treefrog...

and as Matt from First Legion was the guest speaker...

I would assume it might be one of his figures...

again...

not sure...

so perhaps someone in the know would expand on this or correct me...

The dinner figure was a early First Legion figure of a Afrika Korp tank man holding a water cup and canteen. The figure was not like the current figures. It has a regular brown base like a Britains and is 1/32 scale. I will post a pic when I sort the figures. John
