What do you guys think?Braddock,Rogers & Langy,Whaleboat? Whats the new line?
Mark

It's the Jacobite Rebellion 1745. John has 17 Highlanders on show, the first of which will be available in November. These are the best figures he has done to date, in our opinion. This opinion is shared by all who have had a chance to view them.

I'm sure they are but it's not my interest Thank God.I don't need another range to try to collect.

:eek::eek: Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrggh(eldritch cries of dismay, alarm & anguish) my second sight shows me the cat and I pinched with hunger shaking in our tattered plaidies giggling foolishly admiring our new J.J.D. Jacobites.Looks to be a hard Winter.o.(though perhaps the only new element in this vision is the JJD figures...I cannae be certain:rolleyes:)

Fantastic !!!!!!!! :) Raise the firey cross, the Prince has landed on the shores of Scotland. Maybe this time we can rid ourselves of this German King!

Makes sense, Jacobite Rebellion 1745, only 10 years before FIW.

Most of the British Troops should be able to be reused/double up.

Should be an Excellent Series. :)

Any news on:

1. Set run numbers (500 Sets?)
2. Prices.
3. Photo's.

Any other news from John on future releases, Whale Boat and so on.

The nightmare has come true. Alas, what will I do? This is the only development that could get me started on a new series. I haven't even caught up with POA yet. OH, the agony. The hieland charge lives! -- lancer

Oh Man,
I can't believe that. That is the one and only range which I said I can't pass up and for quite a while now I was in between hoping for it or hoping that it doesn't come out, either from JJ or K&C or whoever. It will hurt the wallet.
But can't help it, it's a must.
Now please, anybody out there in the windy City, please show us some photos.
What a day :eek::D:eek::D:eek::D

Was a prototype of the whaleboat at the show and did anyone hear about how much one would cost.

Exactly ;) the 44th from Monongahela aka the 55th (Lee's) Regt. with Sir John Cope at Preston Pans ,indeed wearing the uniform coats, they're likely more accurate for P.P.:)o.

I saw the range. Not my thing but very, very nice. Oddly, just the night before Andy had said one range he would do was Culloden. Very well received, as Mike said, by those who were there at the unveiling (including yours truly). Louis was quite high on the range and is buying them all.

You might not like the new Jacobite range Mark but man you will love the whale boat - just an awsome model. JJ had the prototype at the show and it was stunning. Also, I know I promised pics of the show, was able to take a few and then the batteries in the camera died. Didn't take pics but did have a great time. I have now discovered St. Petersburg Crusaders and Saracens, in fact I was able to purchase 5 sets. Also purchased 2 desert diorama bases from Ken Ossen (Hudson & Allen Studios) - plan on using them as a basis for the Battle of Hattin. Pics of my latest purchases to follow.

Brad has hit the nail on the head, we were all in attendance for the unveiling and it was well worth it! Cool range, it is high on Louis' list.

Whaleboat, awesome. It speaks for itself. I have pictures and will try to get them posted tomorrow morning.

Are you back home yet Tom? Sorry I missed you today. Had to leave at 11.

Any hint of when the Whaleboat will be available and the price.Look foward to the pictures.
