Scaling has been completely resolved. Our new Tobruk 1942 set is a crisp 60mm as witnessed by the attached photograph of our new set with one of Andys nifty sculpts.

I look forward to meeting all of our existing customers and soon to be new ones at the west coaster on the 4th! Oh and we have a big big suprise: another scu that will be revealed at the show as well! Best Regards, Brian

Looks like the "What size will these figures be" question has been answered. The figure example shown here looks very, very good to me.

Brian:

Will you re-scale the 101 paras that were earlier released in 1/24 scale?

Can you post a much better picture of the Tobruk series?

Any chance of an American Jeep with mounted 50 cal and another version as communication /radio vehicle?

N-P

Can you tell me if you will be at the london show in March?.Thanks

Rob

Now I am interested. As for the faces, I love the different varients ,whether they are NMA ,Patriot, HB, etc. As long as the size and proportions are close, it makes me feel like my collection is composed of unique individual pieces. I might be the only one, who thinks Andy's figures all kind of look facially the same...Michael

Im afraid because of our busy production schedule we won't be out for the March show. I do alot of the sculpting and we have so many different subjects that are scheduled to be que'd for manufacture its tough to be everywhere. Best regards,

Andy's pieces are so unique and of excellent quality, he certainly has captured a really neat style. One can only admire his tenacity and energy thrown into the industry. Our pieces are meant to be more diorama oriented and realistic, so perhaps we can bring to the industy a greater variety of style. Im so glad we listened to all of the dealers and collectors on scale changes and paint upgrades, it seems we're on track with most of your needs thus far. Best regards, Brian

Brian,

As I've mentioned, the vehicles look like they may be nice and perhaps something I may want to purchase and the figures appear to be of the right proportions, the faces, in my opinion, appear zombie like. While no says you should make them look like K & C as evey maker has his own style, the faces have a way to go.

Brian,

You were right about the scale comparisons, thank you for that.

That's great to see and I very much look forward to seeing them at the West Coaster. Will you be available to prior to the Show on Sunday to meet and greet with the collectors in an informal basis like the other manufacturers and display your sets? Like the Chicago show, there is room trading a couple of days prior to the Sunday show.

Also, will you be selling any of your new releases at the show?

Brian: I'll try to occasionally post a new image here and there special for Treefrog members. Stay tuned I'll see what else I can put up in the coming days and weeks. You can clearly see the seperate metal tracks and really cool flag ( not built into th cast but speperate!) that we will have on our tanks. None of the single cast vehicles for us, no no, that just won't do Im afraid:)

Actually DAK is just beginning manufacture now. As you all might know Chinese New Year ( workers have a month off! ) started in February and goes till the beginning of March so that kind of put alot of releases off this year. The first sets should be to retailers in May. So there is a wait

Brian,

Thank you for the update and it's understandable about the manufacturing delays.

Gotta say you seem to be focusing on our first releases. We completely re-did the faces, sculpting and paint on our new DAK. They look great now. Try to give it a fresh look. Cheers!

Unfortunately Im just at the show on he 4th, I have a hectic schedule these days.

Naturally I've only seen the new sculps in picture but I'm willing to say they have a hard edged look as opposed to zombie. Which might be appropriate for the villians that they where.

Thank you for your response and too bad your schedule doesn’t permit more time with collectors in a more casual atmosphere outside of showtime. Andy, Richard Walker, Mark Vuncannon and rest have taken advantage of this time to understand their collectors better and have subsequently profited with greater sales and sustain loyalty from the collector.

I’m encourage with your latest AK release and I look forward to seeing them in the future will likely buy them if they look as good in person as they do in pictures.

Carlos

Hopefully you will be able to attend some London shows later in the year or have a UK supplier?.

Rob

Thank you for the newer picture of the Panzer I. I think the positioning of the commander in the previous posting showed him a bit off balance. The most recent photo seems to show him in a more natural pose, standing upright. The first picture looked like he was leaning back and feeling the pull of gravity as he was driving out in the desert like a bat-out-of-he!!.

I like the detailing on the tank. It is nice to see the improvements being made since the first poly was produced. This is an example of what competition will do for us collectors. I still don't know about the facial features. My jury is still out on those. But the vehicles and gun set look great.:)

With the faces, I feel we should keep in mind that the soldiers of that era were not as well fed as they are today, and this was especially evident where rationing was in place. When you look at pictures from WWII you notice that "somewhat gaunt" was the normal appearance. These days most soldiers look like they need to do a few more laps around the track and cut down on their icecream :)
