It's always great fun catching up with Brian. Here are some pics of his dioramas and the stellar new sdkFZ 232 w/ support troops. I really like the paint job on the sample he had at the show.

Great shots Joe! Can't wait to get my paws on that catapult.

Thanks Joe again for the coverage of the show.Like Sahara{another Joe}i am waiting for the new Romans to arrive. Thanks Again.Mike B.^&grin

Thanks for the nice comments Mike. I enjoy looking at your post as well. I really like how you work the older conte figures into a lot of your shots. In fact after seeing one of your photos I had to go out and buy a couple of the sets.

It truly is a terrific time for us. There had been such a long drought on Romans that I was beginning to think they would never make a comeback. Now that there here their is no way I'm missing out. I think you will see more and more collectors start their own Roman range. It just seems that more people are seeing how great these figures are and are beginning to take advantage of it. If not it just leaves more for you and me^&grin

Any closer pics of the two panzergrenadiers in the background (near the caissons it looks like) with their hands thrown up as if celebrating? They look new.

Where was all this stuff on Sunday? I only saw the Jagdpanther & King Tiger. :(

Those are from the CS sets of surrendering SS troopers. I believe there are two sets of two figures each. -- Al

I saw some of their Confederate marchers two weeks ago at Secaucus and thought they were nicely done.

Joe,
If there was a medal for services to the Hobby you would get it.
Thanks again for all the hard work.
Brett

Thank you Brett!

It's all part of the fun really! I really enjoy trying my best to cover the excitement of the event for everyone and share in the excitement. Even then you can't catch it all, as there comes a point when even I must put the camera down:tongue:. So I didn't capture TG, Edmunds Traditional, JJ, Build-a-rama, TSSD, etc this year, but will do my best next year! Thanks again for the kind words, Joe

Thanks Alby, Mike, Joe and Tom.:smile2: Glad you guys were able to get a little taste of this great show! Joe

Big oops. Looks like the figures in question ARE celebrating. From a new release by CS. -- Al
