I had a guy that buys buildings from me regularly on Ebay...
hew was looking for a K&C SP033...
"The Stables"...
a fantastic offering from K&C...
which was retired about 15 years ago...
and is really hard to find now days...
the last one I saw on Ebay went for $350...
making the secondary market kind of pricey...
so he asked me to make one in the same paint scheme...
to match the buildings he already bought from me in the past...
and only asking me to make it bigger...
he said I had "artistic license" on the build...
this is what I made him...

Very nicely done Mike . . . . You have certainly progressed over time developing your "cottage" industry . . . .
:smile2: Mike

Mike, you certainly do have quite a (HUGE) talent for designing and building these marvelous diorama items.

From my 2 mountain pieces, to desert structures, to 1812 style firing defenses and a LOT MORE .. you are really adding a tremendous breadth to our hobby.

Once again, well done!

Fantastic work Mike. Your buildings are top notch.

Well done Mike. A great take on K&C's one.:salute::

Excellent work as usual !

Your mixture of materials and 'detail' is quite amazing.

Well Done.

Beautiful building Mike......Hmmmm, I need a Castle facade for my Crusaders, you for hire????

Excellent structure Mike, another gem from the big Mike workshops!

P.S. Are you going to the Chicago show this year?

Tom

I would like to thank everyone for your comments...
they are flattering and duly appreciated that you took the time to comment...
thank everyone also for your "likes" also...
very much appreciated...

Brad...they are made with foam board...
"blue or pink board"...
extruded polystyrene...
used for insulation on homes...
they have a very durable stucco patch coating...
you can drop them on the floor and they bounce...
not like resin...
practically unbreakable unless fragile attachments are incorporated...see pic...

Make2007...
I'm not sure what a WWII building is...^&grin...
but I don't own any WWII figures...
so I never tried...
I have never collected a series with a mechanized war machine...

Sammy...
I'm so far behind I can barely keep up...
honestly....
I bet I have sold 60 diorama/buildings on Ebay since December...
3-4-5 a week....
Carlo just posted pics of an awesome one...
he sells his buildings...
his work is hard to beat...

Tom...
I thought about going...
I really enjoyed that show and the room trading...
drinking with George and all the Froggers was the highlight of the trip...
if you're going...
I could be persuaded...hehehe...
let me know...
