Mike, IMO I like the KC one a little better. I like the paint job and the landing gear is more detailed,
but they are both very nice.

Both are very nice birds. The colour scheme of both planes is nice and correct

Thanks for posting; always find such comparisons interesting when it is almost like for like models. Personally, prefer the camo on the KC model.

Here though is another interesting comparison of the two models.

USA = JJD $238 v KC $229 but ....

When it comes to the UK...

UK = JJD £155 v £226 KC is nearly 50% more expensive :rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

(Based on current FX rates it would be $241 v $351)

don't think there is a huge amount of difference in them to be honest. Nothing glaring they both do the job

The planes look very close in scale, I don't have any JJD pieces, are they officially 1/30 or 1/32 scale?

Chris

Anyone notice that the wing camo patterns on the two planes is the same, with the exception of the color tone/boldness? This would seem to indicate that either KC & JJD used the same pattern/plane as an example or that the Germans had specified patterns to be adhered to. I think both planes look very good/close to each other in quality but I prefer the bolder, more distinct JJD camo job. -- Al

Thanks for posting this. I was very curious to see both togrther, so I could have an idea if they would match in dimensions; apparently they do. Looks like they can stand in the same Luftwaffe field in a Battle of Britain dio... Since I have the "Emil", I'm now seriously considering buying my first JJD product...
