Conte North West Frontier 1879 - 1900 Series (4 Viewers)

Thanks ArtilleryCrazy for your comments. I knew the rifles of the Highlanders were from a later date but knew I could get away with it by having them face the way ther where in the photos. By the way for those of you missed out on the 1st shipment of the series an are awaiting the arrival of the additional sets that didn't make the first shipment they're due later this month NLT early Dec. A little playtime in black an white..........The Lt.

Tempting you Martyn with another photo. The backdrop photo is from the Alabama Hills section of California where scenes from the movie Gunga Din were shot. Many thanks to Randy Bond for providing the photo. Staying in the movie mode here's a photo in black an white............The Lt.

Joe,

I had a good look at these figures at the last London show in December, really impressed with them. I assume there will be some tribesmen released in the future? Nice background btw.

Jeff

That's the one beef I have with the manufacturers. They need to mix up their releases a little.I really don't want to buy a figure until I see some of the oppenents. That way I can see how they match up against each other.I like the way CS is doing their Roman line.

They will be Jeff along with additonal Highlanders following the the first releases of Conte's Romans an Barbarians. The backdrop is part of Traverse Dioramics Mountain Set.

Mark Conte realease his Zulu War Sets mixed an his Roman at War Series will also be. To insure that the painting of the Highanders Kilts were conssitant he's scheld the Highlanders first on their own. The tribesmen will make their appearance alog with addtional Highlanders following his release of the Romans and Barbarians.

That's good to here Joe.I wasn't picking on Conte as they all do it at times.
Mark
