Conte North West Frontier 1879 - 1900 Series (1 Viewer)

Thanks for the encouraging words regarding the diorama everyone, but just about anything I build is going to augmented by these excellent figures and Joe's photography. I am particularly fond of the two sets of casualties being assisted by their comrades (NWF-08 and NWF-26), and it was clear that NWF-26 needed to be on that bridge. Joe's excellent photography skills and the time taken to establish the composition really complete the illusion. It is always a pleasure visiting with Joe (and Joey...of course).

Alas, Martyn, the diorama will not be at the London show unless I wear it as a hat. I have taken additional tables for the next show, however...and will have all the newer Conte metals there. It seems I am going to have to start spending some time in the UK just to build the diorama boards for the London show! But it will be at the Gettysburg show this next weekend and MFCA next month; rather than my bringing it there, why don't you come here?! The weather is warm (as it has been the last 8 months) and there is only occasional fighting flaring up between the Northerners and Rebs...so it should be relatively safe in Gettysburg. Most of the fighting there these days is to get a hotel room.

All the best,

All the best,

Many thanks for the reply Nicholas. The invitation to come over is very tempting, we have had rain and wind for what seems like the last 40 days and 40 nights {eek3}

Look forward to seeing you at the June Show, it's not that far away:salute::

Cheers

Martyn:)

Here's another round of photos featuring my playtime Brett, Michael and Martyn. Nicholas can't wait to get in a round of play time with the new Zulu War Diorama your building for Conte. By the way all check out the Diorama and Accessories Section of the forum to view the Diorama..........The Lt.

Agree Jeff Nicholas created a classic diorama and both his diorama and Conte's Highlanders brought my photos to life with loads of help from my camera. Thanks for your kind words.
