although Patton has already set off his Army moving North along congested roads, aiming for Bastogne, the key road centre in the south of the Bulge.........

In Bastogne, armoured elements are arranged into combat groups - such as Team Cherry. Elements mainly of 10th Armoured Division are the armour support available to the 101st Parachute Division

The combat teams are sent out to delay the German advance as much as possible at key crossroads - almost certain destruction for the US armour................
