CS00287 Tiger detail pics (1 Viewer)

He does look nice , problem is I'm getting the four Normandy king tiger's & they all got the same figures & that the reason I'm using the Tiger figures as well

A great case for alternate crew, or just commander, sets.

...and a few more...

Lastly, to give you an idea of the size of the CS Tiger, here's a pic of it alongside K & C's newest Tiger (which I also very much enjoy!:)).

What are the measurements on each tank? KC's body and barrel look longer.

I will get you some measurements as soon as I get a chance....been crazy around here w/ birthdays and Christmas coming fast! But the short answer is, yes the K & C snow tiger is bit longer and wider, and the barrel is longer too. This is all to expected though, because the CS Tiger was produced before they declared a more robust scaling of their product, somewhat along the lines of what K & C is doing as well. What I'm trying to say is, the CS Tiger is an older model, and was made before CS scaled up the size of their AFV's. The K & C snow tiger, conversely, is a current product, and is larger in scale than their many of their older AFV's. (For instance, if you put the snow tiger alongside K & C's previous SL winter tiger, you would see even a larger difference than what you are seeing between the two tanks pictured here.) So the size differential depicted in the pics is to be expected.

I like the exhaust vents on the CS Tiger....K/C should have done these on the New Snow Tiger (a typical K/C short cut)....It makes a big difference in appearence.....I don't like the CS zimmerit however it seems overdone

The CS exhaust vents are really a standout feature....it really shows the time and effort they put into realism. CS has improved on their zimmerit detail after the Tiger. But actually, IMHO, the Tiger's zimm actually looks better in person than it does in pics.

Have to say that CS detail is very good but, K&C could just paint inside of their moulded vents somewhat like they had done on the drive sprokets of the tunisian tiger and the snow tiger and, it would improve the detail on the rear hundered fold.

Don't you think when the K&C Tiger tank cost £220.00 it should come with painted vent covers as stranded

uksubs...

For the price it probably should but, K&C does not do it though after not painting the drive sprockets on the kursk tiger they did on the snow tiger so, they may do it on the next release

It will be interesting to see how the K&C Jagdtiger look , I'm hoping for good things :)

I would be surprised if it has any photo etch on the grills K&C has its way and does not want to or, by sales need to change. I am hoping for good things with the Jagdtiger

With K/C prices "steadily increasing" for AFV's and "charging additional" for add on figures...I would hope to see some "improvement in detail" with their WWII artillery and tanks.....Other manufacturers products are steadily improving. CS is making a good effort at product improvement at their price point. Well done CS
