Though I've a CS M113 on order I already have the K&C Aussie version and while in the photos it might look like the M113 doesn't look high enough, you need to take into account that the figures are standing 2mm or so taller because of the bases, which the M113 doesn't have and also camera angles which will be slightly different and can make a lot of difference to perceptions.

When mine arrives I will do a side by side comparison, unless anyone with both already wants to do it sooner ?

Thanks for all the pics and info below! I just placed an order for the CS M113 direct from the company. It looks very nice and I really like that it has a full interior... I also got some soldiers to accompany it, making use of Collector Showcase’s “August Free Figure Giveaway”. Will post some pics when I eventually get it.

Thanks Steve look forward to it.

Nice pictures...Did you have any customized weathering or painting applied post purchase?

Thank you

Carlos

Carlos:

Thanks. FYI, I did not buy it. These pictures are of a factory fresh M113, removed from the box to take the photos thus there is no additional weathering on the vehicle.

Best,
Jason

The TCS M113 with interior detail makes it superior for diorama applications IMO. TCS should consider making an Australian fire support track; which utilized the Saladin armored car turret.

I just received this model yesterday and it is fantastic! It’s very nice to have 1/30 scale vehicle with a full interior and it will make for some great display options with the TCS Vietnam figures... All the accessories (including the Playboy magazine) are nice touches as well. My only gripe is why they didn’t open the commander’s and driver’s hatches all the way and include the full figures? There is interior space underneath each station, so why not have the open holes? Despite that, it’s still a lovely model!

Good to know, I have one in transit, mainly for the interior feature. Robin.

Here’s some pics of my TCS M113 and troops. I like the M113, if anything for the great attention to detail inside and out. Enjoy the pics!

Excellent, hoping mine will arrive in the next few hours. Not a fan of the look of the signage 'welcome wagon' may have to eventually send it away for a re-paint. Robin.

Agree mate a lot of "Americanisms ^&grin " have to be removed.

TCS usually uses decals which can be removed without damaging the paint using Scotch Magic tape. Apply the tape over the decal and the decal will come off with the tape. I have used this method many time to remove and replace decals.

That's very useful info, certainly going to give it a go, thank you. I will let you know outcome. Robin.
