December 2021 Advent Calendar (3 Viewers)

Things are going to be very busy at my house tomorrow so I'm posting these last two Advent Calendar sketches tonight. John couldn't decide which of these he wanted me to post so he sent me both. Merry Christmas everyone!

Is Helen crossing her fingers behind her back while watching her husband, Hector, fight it out with Achilles below the Trojan Walls? Or is this her forlorn look while watching Achilles drag her husband's body behind his chariot?

I think you need to recheck your knowledge of the Trojan War but they look like great figures for this series. Sapper.

Helen's husband was the Spartan king Menelaus. Her Trojan lover was Paris. Hector's wife was Andromache. However she had many reasons for wanting Hector to win so either emotion is possible.

Someone here who knows his history, always an Achillie's Heel for the less knowledgeable.

Is it Troy Story? As The Lilad took the name from Llium, which was the Latin name for Troy, as was one the settlements [7 of 9 over time] in the same location, with ad meaning 'the story of', therefore it could called 'Troy Story'.

My mistake, I have only read. the Illiad four or five times! Too much holiday cheer.
Helen could be watching her lover Paris fighting her husband Menelaus.
