I turned right around and pre ordered it from my trusty dealer. The next day they are now pre-sold out of them as is Hobby Bunker, the U.S. Distributer !!!

does anyone know when the AK Tiger will be available? Ron

I believe the release date is late August, early September. In my opinion I wouldn't be surprised if it's available around the Chicago Show in late September.

This is interesting information. Maybe the U.S. distributer Hobby Bunker can shed some light on this ^&confuse

That is an intersting bit of news. Perhaps the low number raises its value to collectors? An after the fact notice somethings wrong with the model? The usual sizing, mold shrinkage, historical accuracy? Fiel cleaner corruption?

Habby Bunker, can you clarify?

Talked to Matt yesterday at a show here in Michigan and he indicated that something went wrong with the molds and only 70 were made. He did say that the folks at Figarti may produce another 20 vehicles but will be slightly different.

Ahhh ...the rumor mill is in full swing..I see..

IT IS SOLD-OUT....END OF STORY...:p

I was never that interested in a Tiger (I had the K & C one and sold it) because the Tiger was used in the Tunisian campaign but not in Libya/Egypt through El Alamein.

Yes but to who? If like the T-34, that means not to collectors, but other dealers/ebay speculators.

I see there a ebay seller in the USA who been trying to sell about ten stukas for a big profit for last couple of months and think he done the same with the first Figarti Tiger but that ebay for you

mugs game IMO. Cannot see why Figarti dealers would allow certain people to buy that many items there is no other reason than to try and end up fleecing collectors of Figarti stuff. when a edition is as low I would like to see some restraint on them so actual collectors get them not the sad sack speculators who think its fun to fleece collectors out of their money. Just common sense really when you see tigers and other stuff going for or, being asked for four times the price or more of the retail within a few weeks of its release.

FYI please don't give me the lecture on free market stuff this type of behaviour is selfish and greedy and I don't agree with it whatever the other point may be about buy what you can get and sell it at what you want. The same will happen with the desert Tiger and I hope they sit on their shelves and nobody buys them or, they make a loss
