Great action photos Chris. I like how you've captured this battle scene. :salute::

Must of been darn hot for them in those woolen uniforms !

Chris the smoke effect promotes the story so well. Robin.

Chris,
You've captured a painting once again. Perfect angle.
Steve

Amazing diorama, love it

Many thanks for the comments and like votes guys. :salute:: Chris

Absolutely Brilliant use of well everything :salute::

Love the figures, all of them a great mix of manufactures poses to tell the story and set the scene. I really love the use of the smaller scale figures in the back to trick the eye and show serious depth in a small area.

Proof that with imagination and skill you don't need hundreds of figures to portray a battle that did. Just really nice work. regards Gebhard :salute::

Chris,

This is awesome!!! You captured the painting very well in your scene.

As Gebhard said, your use and placement of the figures is perfect in creating a good visual depth.

Well done all around!!! I especially love the addition of the supply or ammo box....it's those little details that really add up to enhance the dio.

Thanks Mark. I used the new WB supply set for the ammo box to replicate the one in the painting. Also replaced the head of the fig without the hat with one from a casualty piece and used a plastic fig for the falling soldier in the foreground to attempt to get as close to Troiani's work as possible. Chris

Superb recreation of the painting Chris, well done :salute::

All the best
