First Legion’s World of Tanks series German Panzer VIII Maus Wüstenschiff model is simply incredible! It is massive, extremely well detailed, and very beautifully painted and weathered. Just eye candy, really!

The Maus comes with a bunch of accessories like crates, jerrycans, and ammo cans. All the camo netting, ladders, racks, filters, fuel system, and other equipment comes affixed to the tank. The two turret hatches and the driver’s hatch open. Turret rotates and the gun elevates as well.

I have the tank set up in an urban combat display with some of FL’s Normandy Heer figures. The base, ruin, and rubble are all Sheffield Miniatures products. The base is 12”x12” so that will give one an idea of the size of the Maus tank model!

My hats off to First Legion for finally developing a Maus tank model in 1/30 scale. Even if it’s a fantasy vehicle from the WoT game, it is still an amazingly beautiful model and some of their best work yet 😃

Wow TMAN 👌 absolutely brilliant. You are definitely the best at the little vignette. I think personally this is your best one. Paul

Thank you everyone again for the kind comments on my diorama with the FL Maus! They did an amazing job on the model and it’s amazing how massive the Maus truly is compared to most other German and Allied tanks!

Also, with the release of this model, we now have the complete line of WWII German Panzers in 1/30 scale from different manufacturers, ranging the Panzer I all the way to the Panzer VIII Maus 😎

Those comparison pics show just what a monster this piece is, I really want it now.

Panzer Ace, you definitely need to take the plunge and get the FL Maus 😃

It’s not cheap, but given the size of the model, it’s excellent paint and weathering, all the built on details, plus the myriad of loose accessories it comes with, the Maus was definitely worth the price in my book.
