Dispatches are up!! (1 Viewer)

Some nice stuff, as usual. Really like the Bruce set and it's stand alone quality. Great action and color, there. Good month for the AK collectors. Have to say, I'm quite disappointed in the apparent price of the Typhoon. I was holding out hope that it would be somewhere close to affordable but at $369, it is FAR past the price point I can shell out. Too bad for me.:( -- Al

A good batch of releases covering differing areas of interest.

I welcome the Cleopatra set as she was needed. Robert the Bruce set looks good and good news about an Aussie Morris.

What a great model. Panzerjager I converted from the Panzer I Ausf B chassis with a 4.7 cm gun for use against the heavier French tanks in place of the 3.7 cm "door knocker" used by the infantry. Just over 200 were made and served in France, Berbarossa and North Afrika. The K&C model is from the smaller 2nd series produced identified by the 7 sided gun shield.

A grey version is on my list. Wish I could get the AK version too.

Oh well. You are not alone. I too was eagerly waiting and hoping it would be less than $300. I will have to pass on it as well. Can't justify spending this much on a single plane.

The Panzer I tank destroyer is a great looking piece. The question for me is whether to wait for the grey version or get the AK version.

I was so busy putting up pics that I missed the news that this is coming in a RAFversion, great news!^&cool

Those new AK vehicles look tremendously good, but I don't collect much AK. I really want the Typhoon, as RAF is my one focus area in WWII, but it going to be extremely unlikely that I will spend $369 for one piece. I am super happy with the new ancient Egypt and Nap in Egypt pieces. I will get all three AE right away and probably 3 or 4 of the Napoleon in Egypt. Now, I would like to see another diorama piece for ancient Egypt - please.

I don't like to complain about prices too much...it is what it is, but on a personal note the price rises are pushing me out of K&C WWII almost completely. I did get the bowser pre-ordered earlier, and I am focusing on RAF to save space and money. The thing is, it is getting very hard to afford vehicles at all. That is leading me to focus on other periods of history and mostly figures.

I love this figure...I'm calling him "crowd control"

Yes - great figure. Unfortunately I don't collect AK.

Also I fond it nearly impossible to shout this MG in this position. But it looks really good. {sm3}

I was just re-reading and noted the Morris truck coming out in RAF colors. Nice!

Yes this would look really good with either stores/supplies or RAF Pilots in the back wouldn't it?!

Nice dispatch. The Napoleonics in Egypt have some really unique and colourful pieces that I'll have to strongly consider adding to my collection soon. I like the surrendering Tommy in his desert long coat. The Panzerjager I is yet another example of how K&C cater to the devoted collector, such a unique piece, am very tempted by the grey version.
The Morris truck looks like a must have, I'm leaning towards the Mickey Mouse camo version.....I hope it has a removable canvas top.
As for the RAF I like the pose were the ground crewman is sitting on a wing, really cool.
The Typhoon is spectacular (and so is the price{eek3}) a definite highlight of the year to date but I definitely will not be purchasing it. Again for me its simply I don't want one bad enough to justify spending that much money, I'll wait for something else I can't live without. Its a shame really, I'd definitely pick up more K&C product that are secondary on my buy list if things were more affordable. The warbirds prices are out of control and I'll be looking to other scales and manufacturers to have airplanes in my collection. K&C is quickly becoming a "figures and small vehicles only" manufacturer for me. :(
As for retirements I'm not hurt too bad even though there are so many!

You would think with the 150th anniversary of the Civil War they're would have been some new ACW releases. 369.00 for the Tyfoon is just out of hand.
