Dispatches is up! (2 Viewers)

Rob,

Don't give him false hope. You know that range has been retired ;)

Not to worry - there are more NAPs coming soon :p;):D

Also glad to see a manufacturer announce a choice of colours of a model so we can get the exact one(s) we want and not just buy the first one then find out the one you really wanted is coming out later.

Desert Austin and Kubelwagen look like very nice additions to my North Afrika sets. And the paint scheme on the Me109 is so nice I am tempted, even though I am not collecting 1:30 aircraft.

I hate it when the releases are this good. The first thing I do is mental calculations of how much can afford, where can I place the figures, what are the priorities, etc. I will definitely get the tower, the Kubel and the motorcycle. I love the airplanes, but I've never gotten one because that means getting into a completely different league of collecting in terms of money and space. I can envision now an desert airstrip diorama with the Fiessler, Tifun, Focke Wulf, Stuka and Messerschmitt. But that is just me fantasizing! I'll stick to my land combat collection. So I'll skip the Lutwaffe figures. The brown coats AK's are of course a must, but they have to be displayed separately; and even though they would not be my first choice, the water drinking figures will definitely add a touch of lightness, relaxation and realism to my diorama. I also love the 8th army trucks; but I stopped collecting 8th army long ago; needed to focus on the AK. Those desert trucks, however, are so tempting. I am really excited this month! Thanks Andy!

P.S,

Just one little objection or rather observation... Why is the AK motorcycle on a base rather than free-standing like previous bikes? The free-standing is great because it has movable wheels, looks more realistic and is more versatile for placement in a diorama.

Nice to see a Kesselring figure. That one is long overdue. In my opinion, he comes away from WWII as one of the best and most underrated of the German generals surpassing even Rommel. His defense of Italy was tenacious. Hitler seemed to have more faith in him than Rommel.

well at least its another month closer to the only range i collect getting some additions:)

pfeil...

Agree abouit the motorcycle and hopefully nobody will think it churlish to raise the point with the excitement about these releases and, the number. Would have been better un-based IMO

I agree. One of the best ground commanders the germans had. Probably, a good job they kept him where he was as the havoc this man could have caused in Normandy is unthinkable

Great dispatch, best for me in quite a while. I will have to get the desert 109 and all the desert Luftwaffe Pilots, along with the desert Luftwaffe control tower. The RAF Austin Tilly Utility Van is also a must. Also tempted to get the desert Kubelwagon and one of the desert guards in the great coat.

Wounded and dead Germans!:D:cool:

And what a great idea to bring out a vehicle in 3 different colour schemes!:DThe only colur schemes which this particular vehicle could have been released in!:DThis means collectors of each front can be happy!:D:cool:

OMG THE AK STUFF:eek:Wish I collected it!:eek::D

Love the the new the Austins, doubt if i can afford all 3:( I wasn't really intent on starting collecting the RAF series, i might as well seen as have ordered the RAF Austin K2 Airfield Ambulance:D along to go with the other two variants;)
Seen as we are having variations of 3 can we have this variation for the RAF Bedford:D

Happy Days,Regards Steve

Depending on how often series 250 is released this could almost be a quasi Strictly limited every month or every other etc as the title suggests and corresponds to the release number of each variant. Will be interesting to see how it works as we get two versions now usually AK and, normandy i.e. new panzer III.
I hope andy comes on here and explains this a bit more or, puts it in a mag soon

Just when you think this company cant do any better BAM they go and do this ,the utility useage of the HJ figures is clever and the new DAK figures will be useful to diorama builders.Congrats to K&C ,think i will cancel Xmas this year to pay for all these and the other amazing releases yet to come in Oct/ Nov and Dec .
