:( I like the Semovente but it should have an Italian Commander with Tanker's Helmet and Dressed in Leather! Also, the Panzer III is Ak IS A repeat of the First Panzer III, of which I like Better, with a Crew! Mussolini should have been Dismounted and Saluting his Troops! The Italians should have gotten Fighting BERSAGLIERI, Infantry,with a ---47MM-Anti Tank Gun, ---a Mortar Team, and--- BREDA MG Team, and Motorcycle Dispatch Rider? NO M-13/40 Tank? I didn't see a M-PRIEST, or M-3 'HONEY' ETC! We should have gotten for AK a SDKFZ-232-8-Wheel RAD Armored car/w/ Radio Antennae? Its like going to the Dentist , Waitng and Waiting to get some Dental Work done sooner than later! When ANDY?

Holy smokes, finally some Italians and the #1 cheerleader is disappointed, go figure. John, take what is given and like it when it comes to unsaleable subjects (IMO), I will be highly surprised if these ever sell their full run, maybe the vehicle. I also wonder what the true run is on these.

I agree with JG about most of his opinions...

The Good:

Italians!
Semovente M40-75/18 --- AWESOME!

The BAD:

No Italians in action, just parade figures. BORING!

The AK Panzer III has only 1 crewman. I like the old retired one better even though the tracks were bad.
 
You guys have got to be kidding:eek: Would you have been happier that he didn't make them so you could continue to ask for them. Also, I'm quite sure that Italian collectors, who are a growing market for K & C, will be pleased with these. No, you don't always get what you want but I think you should be pleased with what K & C is making.

I am happy to get a very typical Italian AFV. I hope it sells well enough for K&C to make one of the M13/40, M14/41 or M15/42 Italian tanks. I think there are a lot of North Afrika collectors and who hopefully will want to add some Italian armour as no good North Afrika collection should be without Italian AFVs. :):cool:

Yeah, I know how you feel. For the Berlin'45 line, I could have bet money that we would get a USSR 203mm howitzer on tracks...the kind of thing that looks like it belongs in a Terminator movie. But we got that little 76mm pop gun instead.

Hey, it gives you incentive to eat your vegetables & live longer.

Agreed; I thought John would be over the moon excited about these Italians that he has been asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking for since Christ was in a crib.

He finally gets them and is still not happy.

John you are priceless; I come to this forum for news, to see what collectors are doing with their collections and last but not least, to get my daily dose of comedy from you and your posts.

The next time you see a dispatch and don't complain about it will be the first time.

O'l Johhny, I must say you can start a firestorm of comments in just one post!!!!!you don't like the new K&C, you don't like the new Figarti stuff, you seem to not like much of anything, why not find another hobby brother??...Sammy
 
I suspect that K&C probably thought it appropriate to duplicate the Indian troop parade. All well and good but, please consider:
* to have an effective parade you would need a minimum of 20? marchers @$35 + bannerbearer ($35) + officer ($32) = 22 figures. You would then need a Mussolini ($79). A minimum total of $786US !!!!

* none of the newly released figures could be used in a combat diorama so they would have only limited use

* which dealer is going to risk ordering 20 marchers@ 5 orders to meet possible demand???

* It was unfortunate that the newly released LAH figures are also in "parade" mode. I know little boys love parades but I love BIG BANGS.

I would hope that further releases of Italian troops would occur ....... in combat poses. And yes I want European Italians (just to be off topic:p:p) and ARTILLERY

I hope I'm being "moderate" in my comments.
 
I agree with Jazzeum, i'm italian and i'm really happy with these new figures..i'm planning to buy all of them in the next months, i was really surprised with the originality of some poses (the chaplain, the "mixed rig", the "winter" figure) and the versatility of the unit too,now Andy could produce Ethiopian warriors , Haile Selassie' and his colourful army ,because they could be used also for the 1936 war (114a Legione Garibaldina role was very important in that war and the uniforms were identical), also i like the Duce on horse,i was expecting a more humble pose, and the Semovente..really a wonderful month!Ciao!!!
 
And some of these guys don't understand why Andy doesn't take the countless polls and mile long wish lists into greater account in deciding what pieces to make :confused::rolleyes:

I truly believe this excessive wishing and complaining makes it less likely that anything other than tried and true mainstream pieces get made. :cool:
