Surprised nobody mentioned this one already.
If you have seen a Tarantino movie you know there will be lots of violence and bad language so no surprises there.
Great cast with lots of old familiar faces popping up (Franco Nero, Michael Parks, Don Johnson, James Remar, Bruce Dern, Don Stroud, James Russo and even Jonah Hill). Tarantino plays an Aussie with the accent. Samuel Jackson's role different from what you would expect.
Busiest guy on the set will have been the one creating the blood and gore special effects.
Long movie but you need that as Tarantino likes to build up the tension to a scene (ie. escaped slave punishment and dining room scenes with Leonardo Di Caprio).
I enjoyed it. Not many movies where the audience can at one moment be laughing and then another being squeamish as the violence gets nasty.
Will be interesting to see where Tarantino goes next.
