I buy a label off ebay for an item sold on ebay. I chose Fedex next day which quoted me $151, so I clicked "purchase postage"...I later get billed $200.44 Further investigation shows the weight charged was for 49lbs...the actual weight was 12lbs...this error is clearly evident. Ebay see's this error and says oh yeah huh? Directs me to fix it with FedEx...I call FedEx and they adjust to a new price of $82.75 (hooray to my benefit^&grin) though they now direct me back to eBay to obtain the credit...I call ebay back the following day because too much time is already wasted for that day.
Ebay tells me the following day that I will get a credit from FedEx not eBay, it has to be taken care of with FedEx...so once again I call back FedEx, this time I dig deeper and obtain from FedEx the account number, amount and date of credit. FedEx tells me eBay can only provide you now with the credit itself. I call back eBay and they say they have no record of a credit. I ask, more like force the lady from eBay to call FedEx and confirm the credit exists so this ebay lady goon can log this down for future reference. She does call FedEx to my surprise and confirms with me that the credit exists...so I ask her to note that in our reference records...she say ok, I say goodbye! I get to thinking about this goon of a lady and start wondering if she noted it for real. I decide to call the "contact us" number on eBay once again to ask if she noted it? They now have me blocked in such a way that my calls go to recording that says "have a nice day"
No better feeling than being a customer and told where to go and what to do!
