Hi everyone,

Just a quick bit of news for you all re Empire.

Thursday January 21st will be our last day of trading or contact for between 10 to 30 days due to my having to undergo some surgery on Friday 22nd.

I was diagnosed with Skin Cancer last August and have already had some removed. However, I need some major surgery now to fully remove the horrible stuff and start on the road to full recovery. I won't go into detail but, it is very intrusive, will last around three hours and require the work of plastic surgical specialist to reconstruct my face on my right side.

During recovery I will try and look in on the forum but, I have to elevate my face for at least the days! Using a pad / lap top will be nigh on impossible.

So, if you contact me and do not get a response, this is why.

What passes as normal service will resume w/c Feb 22nd {sm4}

We are in front of our plan sculpting wise so there should be little delay with releases. The impact will be felt more mid year as I suspect we will fall behind by around 2 months as the year progresses. I will keep you all up to speed though, rest assured.

Thanks and regards,

Malcolm. :salute::

I know all of the Toy Soldier collectors family's thoughts are with you and your family.

Wishing you all the best.

Wow! Thank you all so very much for the kind words and messages. I am truly humbled and so grateful. I just put the post out to let folks know and never expected so many well wishers. It really helps, believe.

I will be back soon {sm3} and I will keep the forum updated with developments. There are a lot of exciting announcements to come along this year so I need to get serviced and have my levels topped up for the journey {sm4}

Thank you again,

Malcolm. :salute::

Quick update for you all.

The operation took longer than planned but was a success as they removed all of the Cancer. Left me very, very sore and with a lot of stitches (and associated pain, but pain relief is working well, mostly).

A full recovery looks likely, just waiting on one more biopsy that I should know about in 2 weeks.

I am resting but keep dropping in to take my mind of things. Hopefully my ramblings will not be too drug influenced, although my spelling is being {sm4}

Plenty of new releases will be ready for March, plenty of pre-productions lined up for the April LTSS as well as paint masters. Lots going on in the background while I recover.

Cheers for now,

Malcolm. :salute::

Glad to hear everything went well! Rest up and let your body heal!
