Actually the truth is this, I started a thread about what looks to me like a contradiction in terms of four Macdonalds restaurants in the Olympic stadium this summer (including the biggest branch in the world seating 1,500 people), but then I thought it could get political or I'd be accused of being anti American or some such so I tried to delete it but for some reason couldn't, so I just removed the content and put error, all this just in case I offended folk...pc gone mad!^&grin:wink2:

Don't think even the strangest people could take a burger thread and turn it political!!!! Must say I have never been to one of their joints nor had any of their food... looks like no meat I have ever seen!!!!

My weekend

Would love to get the borders cut and some work at the bottom end of the garden but, my resident duck has turned some of the flower beds into a nest and she is on 12 eggs!!! so, can't get too much done. Wax the car and watch soccer saterday. See what the chaps post from the show.

It's the college basketball Final Four tournament here in the US and Kentucky has two teams in Saturday's game. So the entire state will be closed Saturday night. Lots of grass to mow before then. Chris

The lawn will have to be mowed either saturday or sunday.
Other then that, beside getting a few groceries and a meeting with a friend at a bar, it will be "Toy Soldiers" all weekend.
Have some more figures to "gloss" and am looking forward to reading and seeing the news from the London Show, which the fellow collectors from the U.K. always provide so nicely :salute::
Hope, the good old Lady doesn't come up with different plans ^&grin :wink2:

Same here im watching them both,plus still hunting for a new dog and will watch the EAGLES devour the Western Bulldogs on Sunday (AFL).
And wait for some pics from Rob and co from the show.
No gardening its a pet hate done only when necessary..........................^&grin

Guys I once mentioned a politician writing on a baby and that caused offence, some people swear by Macdonalds so you never know! Much prefer home cooking myself although I do like a Chinese now and again:wink2:

No idea what I'm doing up at this hour, how addictive is this hobby?!{sm4}

I like a nice chinese meal also. mind, one in wallsend was raided and they found dogs and rats in the freezer!!!! better of having toast
