A good final and thought Italy had some chances and looked like they could have had more. Luck (and good spanish play) was against them to have a substitute taken off after so little time on the pitch and no cover. Ten men was the end they had no chance after that

Great game by Spain, their football up to the 2 nil mark was marvellous. Then the usual control but also bad luck for Italy, having had to play with 10 men for a long time their attempt at a comeback was hampered. On to Brazil 2014!
