Blue/Gray dealers?

Since when has this been established?

It would be nice as a Britains dealer to be kept informed on such things, maybe that's too much to ask............

I don't think it is available to dealers George, like the Melville set that was put out by ModelZone.

The post says the sets will be available exclusively from four dealers only..............

I know and two of the dealers are involved with Britains. I am sure the four stores joined together and had this commisioned directly hence only being 300 made.

Scott is correct George. These four dealers joined together and commissioned WB to make this set exclusively for them. It is only available through them for this reason.

Hmmmmmm....this looks very nice. I might have to "speak for" one of these when I visit the TSS open house in April. So, this will be a series of sets then?

This is Rick from Michigan Toy Soldier. Paul at the Toy Soldier Shoppe, Ted at TedToy Miniatures and Craig at the Old Toy Soldier Home and myself joined together to commission this piece from Britains. We banded together under the name Blue/Gray for this exclusive series and worked with Ken Osen and Dave Yougquist on the production of this set. Similar to the exclusive UK pieces this set is only available through these four shops with each of us allotted 75 sets. This is the first in a on going series that we will be producing. The first set is due in July 2010. Sure to sell out quickly, I recommend reserving one from one of us before it's too late.

I presume by the name Blue /Gray you will be focusing on the ACW exclusively.
Is there any chance of Napoleonic or AZW sets?

Hey George, it sounds like you,ll have to get together with Matt now and maybe treefrog and do your own special figures???;): How about a Napoleonic cavalry figure??? Like the french lancers that you can,t find anywhere because they sold out so fast????:cool:

That is a great idea; myself, Matt and Treefrog will band together and do our own series of figures through Britains, we'll call it the Black and Blue series because customers will be fighting with each other to reserve the sets.

Didn't know Britains offered this sort of service to it's dealers.

Gee, you learn something new everyday.

And while it's true the lancers have sold like wildfire, I've got highlanders stacked to the ceiling overhere, so there goes the theory that the highlanders would sell like hotcakes to oppose the French..............

Hey George, this would be a great chance to kick start a new line, say Australians in hand-to-hand combat with Japanese on the Kokoda Trail.:D:D -- Al (and I'm not kidding)
