Nicely recreated RobinLate June 1982, Stanley occupied. Robin.
Photo background is fine Robin, besides you're looking to be moving, so no point getting a more accurate model made, even if you were thinking of getting one, at least until you get into your new mancave and decide on what dioramas you want as permanent displays. My version o Government House in Stanley. Would have liked to made it look closer to the real one, but not talented enough. Robin.
Expect you are pleased to have a moving date now after being in limbo Robin. Thanks guys, really appreciate your supportive feedback. At last moving March 11th and as you point out Steve, this dio cannot be permanent and will break down into other dioramas. In future it will be back to temporary layouts on the floor, mores the pity, drawing from the permanent shelf and table displays. Couple more to come on this thread before seeing them disappear into the South Atlantic. Robin.
Robin mate, you doing the big down sizing thingy with the house move or you up scaling? Packing up a collection is no fun. Thanks guys, really appreciate your supportive feedback. Those Roo's look sad Robin that you're departing.........Thanks guys, all packed and ready to go. Estimate 20 car loads and 6-8 travel times a day, so 3 days. Setting back up is a little daunting, but bit by bit, no more tv at night. Two shelves are dedicated to the Falklands, still one of my favourite series. Going to miss my man cave which was built in 2014, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. Also 36 years in the house, with views and daily visits of kangaroos on our lawn and colourful birds drinking from the bird bath. Such is life. Won’t miss the foxes, Brown snakes and Red back spiders. Robin.
