Yes, good clear photos "agmtanks" ! A really nice set, and TGunn have done a very good job on accurately sculpting the shape of the M38 paratroop helmet, which often is the Achilles heel of any manufacturers FJ figures ( to my eye), and so they should be commended for that.

Hi Gents, Curious why TG figures keep popping up in the King & Country section of the Forum ?

Its"what people call a "discussion" it"s what people do on a forum...discuss things. and it is impossible to dicuss things without making references/comparisons to other items in that field of discussion.....Hope that cleared things up for you wayne..!!!!!.

Hi Steve,

If I recall correctly this is a King & Country thread discussing K&C Paratroopers.Discussion is one thing,
but there are over 20 photos in this thread of other brands which are not K&C. A side by side comparason
would be one thing, but for me this is more of a bombardment of photos of TG figures and Britains.
Back to discussion...... Whether K&C makes Normandy or Bulge Fallschirmjagers only time will tell.

Hi Wayne, hi Guys,

I hope all of you will be pleased... And sorry, if I seem a little bit late to this particular conversation...
One of the reasons is that K&C and yours truly have been hard at work on several major new projects which include...THREE particular scenarios involving German Falschirmjagers!!!
It's always exciting and inspiring to see and read your enthusiasm for the subject matter and, believe it or not, see what some of the 'opposition' have already done...
Although our own K&C projects are still a 'work in progress' I like to think many of you guys will like the different and original approach we're taking on the subject...So, stay with us as we move along...and watch this space!

All the best and happy collecting,
Andy.

Maybe because 'agmtanks' sells TGM figures on eBay etc ^&grin

I like the TGM Para figures but don't think it's appropriate to post so many TGM photos on a K & C thread, the manufacturers have separate forum sections for a reason.

Hi Andy,

Great news all around for those of us involved in the discussion. As you mentioned THREE Fallschirmjager scenarios coming.
Mathematically my chances of pinning that string to the ceiling are high! {sm4} Looking forward to the coming surprises.

OK.....This latest news from KC sounds definately interesting!!. at long last we could be ..(soon i hope) adding Fallschirmjager"s to our WWII
collections. now i am going to have sleepless nights thinking of all the possibilities.....Normandy..?? Ardennes..?? who knows.
But i would"nt go reaching for that ball of string just yet wayne....or your tomato plants will be falling over!!!.

Hi Steve,
No need to worry for a ball of string as King & Country had the foresight to include
Black string already included and attached to the tops of the Chutes. My 2 paratroopers
hanging at home from the Black string have been there for several years now.Hence
we can now discuss some of their positive attributes. All string attachments on both figures
(figure to chutes) and (chute to attachment string)all remain solidly intact.Looks like
the ripe Tomatoes will be plentiful this spring.

I collect all the King & Country FJ Series also and am very excited they are thinking about continuing this line in the future.

My favorite K&C FJ set is FJ016 FJ Grenadiers, released in 2008.

And my apologies for inserting TG Fallshirmjagers in this thread, I do not post very often, and I thought it was a Fallshirmjager thread.
Treefrog is welcome to delete any of my previous posts.

To be honest mate, I don't thinks it's a biggie about posting photographs of other manufacturers products on this particular thread. I normally would have an issue with it, but I think it's all relevant and the discussion has been civil and it's all about giving feedback about a subject we are all interested in.

I personally think Andy and the K&C team have previously released some amazing FJ's and look forward to further releases.

Hello Wayne

"BLACK STRING"!!!!. Good grief this thread is getting worse by the minute. I f you must have toy soldiers dangling idle from the cieling then have you ever thought of fishing line wayne..???
I still think (only my opinion) that Luftwaffe figures are far more flexible in their use for a collector, they saw much more action in far more locations and had much more success than their SS counterparts in WWII.
It is of course considering the last good news from KC become a mute point as to what the collector would like to see released, so let"s just sit back, chill-out and wait and see..(not too long i hope) just what KC has in store for us Fallschirmjager fans.

"Black string"...horror...horror..horror!!!!.

Well, it is all about who is wearing it....

I have been beating the drum for years for fallschirmjager in Normandy do them the KC way. But having seen the jump smocks in the bayeaux museum they have a blue green background to them . KC could do action figures and ones at rest or moving up. Endless possibilities. Could make 40 or 50 different figures. The toy soldier crowd is clamoring for KC fallschirmjager

For several years, Greg (Hawkeye) and I always asked Andy about them at the Chicago Show. We always received a "No!" It's good to see they're coming out again. I have all the original ones and they are among the favorite figures in my collection.

What, of course, I should have said Brad was...."No...Not at this particular time!"
Best wishes, Andy.

Carefull friend....we are getting dangerously off thread again!! But then again KC did release those rather dubious Napoleonic "Girlies" a while back so maybe they would"nt object if we all posted our favourite "string"photo"s..??, and wayne could show us his complete collection..!!!!!.
