That is absurd, let the chips fall where they may – That’s what the manufacture did. Your post has the potential of affecting the ability of collectors to complete their Crimean collection.
I bought all of their CRW015 this morning and would have bought more if they were in stock.

I agree it's probably unrealistic but it is a concern is it not? However, I'm sure that no rationing will take place and you'll see these show up on ebay with generous markups. Someone needs to speak up for the collector who maybe put off some purchases or can only afford so much at any time. I don't pretend to be that person but hoarding may be a problem.
Although not a retired item, when the V1 from Figarti came out, people swooped in and bought them, depriving others of the ability to purchase them. This wasn't an idle concern and Rick was concerned about it.
