My favorite flag bearer is the American Independent War 1776 British Black Watch Regimental Flag Bearer (produced in 2002, now retired), sorry no pics, in a hurry

The flag has realistic wavy curves and it's entirely hand painted (unlike the newer flags produced nowadays which has perfect computer graphics).

My second favorite is the American Civil war Confederate mounted cavalry flag bearer with the yellow kepi (although the stars were not hand-drawn). He has a nice posture with his head turned back to look at his fellow soldiers.

What's yours?

Also I wonder how do they manufacture computer generated graphics nowadays?

I like this one NA09...receieved it today and just finished looking it over. It is really nice!

For me it's NA18 French Sergeant Flagbearer - a real classic. Other favourites includes of mine include the first flag raising IWJ6 set (see my avatar!), NA33 Grendadier Flag Bearer, NA87 Ewart set and some nice Crimean pieces like the 17th Lancer and the 93rd Highlander Officer.....

Flagbearers from all era's and countries are amongst my favourite individual pieces to collect. I think they all look really cool. In particular I like them because when displayed they stand out and most people who view them can readily tell what nationality they represent. In series that I don't collect much I use flag bearers as my sampling. An example would be the American Civil War, I've only got the mounted Confederate flag bearer and the Yank with the Stars & Stripes....to me this makes for a small but interesting display, afterall you can't have everything in all the K&C series! If pushed for a favourite the Napoleonics are hard to beat especially the Regimental colours on the Coldstream Guard piece # NA 127. ^&cool

I agree with cyber field marshall. Flag bearers from any era are always important and key pieces for any collection.
