Welcome to our February 2026 news update, this time we are showcasing some of our new Rif warriors to take on the French Foreign Legion. The first 4 figures will be available this month, 2 cavalry will follow soon after followed by more cavalry and foot soldiers later in the year.

A colourful character in his orange pants takes aim at the Legion. All our Rif have authentic leather ammunition bags, Arab style daggers and leather water bottles. This first batch are armed with captured Foreign Legion rifles, later releases will be armed with various weapon types. Although all wear the same style Djellaba tunic, all are in different shades of green, with differing stripe patterns and colours, to add that extra variety not often seen on a modern day battlefield.

We are hoping to have a figure release sometime next week, just waiting on a few items to arrive from our factory. February release will include these Rif warriors above, Roman with pony, Napoleonic's and some more Zulu war British.

There will be a Zulu war building to follow as well as a small Gendarmerie outpost for our French Foreign Legion series in the near future. March or April will see a return to WW2 with more German artillery. Two new figures for the Professor Jones series will be available middle of the year.

Best wishes The Gunn Team

Looking forward to seeing the new Naps later this month. More 28th Foot?

Brendan

I particularly like news of upcoming releases from any manufacturer for that matter. It maybe a personal thing for me, but I find this information a distraction from everyday issues and something to think about, with an element of thrill and excitement of what might be. The pending release can for me, be built up in my mind to bigger than Ben Hur sometimes, with the unknown aspect, intriguing to say the least. Not sure if anyone else has similar thoughts. Robin.
